Gender Inclusive Housing

The Residential Living team is committed to partnering with students to identify safe and appropriate housing. As such, we now offer a Gender Inclusive Housing voluntary option for our residents. Gender Inclusive Housing (GIH) seeks to provide an environment that is welcoming to all students regardless of gender identity and/or gender expression, including members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Returning students can apply for GIH via the housing application in Hoya Housing during Housing Selection. Returning students opting into GIH will be able to form groups with other students opting into GIH in the Group Formation phases, allowing the opportunity to self-select into an available room on campus together.

Unavailable Spaces

Certain apartments and residence hall rooms are reserved for:

• Resident Assistants
• Athletic teams
• Living Learning Communities
• Students with medical accommodations
