May Transition Housing
The University announced on March 27, 2020 that all summer courses will be moved to virtual delivery. May Transition Housing will not be offered to anyone not currently approved to live on campus for the spring 2020 semester. For those students living on campus interested in May Transition Housing, more information about the process to apply will be made available soon.
Georgetown students paying for May Transition Housing
May Transition Housing runs from May 10-May 31, 2020. Academic year housing ends 12pm (noon) on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Any student who wishes to stay on-campus past this date must sign-up for May Transition Housing. Graduating seniors may stay in their academic year housing until 12pm (noon) on Monday, May 18, 2020 at no cost and do not need to sign up.

Rate increases to $75/night after April 16, 2020
The application for May Transition Housing opens at 12pm (noon) on April 6, 2020 until 12pm (noon) on April 16, 2020. You can access the application on your Hoya Housing page.
**If your housing is sponsored by a University Department, confirm with that department to ensure your housing is sponsored.
Georgetown Departments & Offices sponsoring May Transition Housing
If a department is covering the cost, the department contact must sign the student up for May Transition Housing. Email firstname.lastname@example.org. The Department Excel spreadsheets are emailed on February 25, 2020; deadline to submit is March 20, 2020 by 12pm.

Sign-up for Pre-Session Housing. Charges are applied to your student account in late May 2020.
- Not living on campus during the spring 2020 semester?
Download the Credit Card Authorization form and fax/drop off the completed form to Residential Living.

Pre-Session Housing is available students enrolled in pre-session courses. All students are initially charged tax. Students who stay continuously on campus from spring 2020 semester or into summer housing for 90 days of continuous housing can have tax refunded if they provide proof of enrollment in a Pre-Session course by 12pm June 19, 2020 via email email@example.com.
