About
Bayit is Georgetown’s first residential community dedicated to celebrating and exploring Jewish culture. Located in Alumni Square, Bayit offers students a home rooted in shared values, meaningful traditions, and interfaith dialogue.
As an extension of Jewish life on campus, Bayit provides space to observe high holidays, host Shabbat dinners, and maintain a Kosher lifestyle—all within a supportive, inclusive environment. Open to all upperclass students, Bayit welcomes individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs.
