Become a Resident Assistant!

What is an RA?

Resident Assistants (RAs) are full-time undergraduate student staff members who are employed by the Office of Residential Education. RAs reside in our residential communities on campus. RAs are responsible for creating a sense of community, enforcing rules and policies, organizing social and educational programs, mediating conflicts amongst roommates, and providing guidance and support to residents. They often serve as a resource for residents, offering assistance with academic or personal matters, and are trained to respond to emergencies. Overall, RAs play a crucial role in fostering a positive living and learning environment for residential students on campus.
