The Residential Living team strives to provide a comfortable living-learning experience for all residential students. Our housing application process varies for new and returning students and different timelines are followed. Non-discrimination & Information for trans, non binary, gender non-conforming students

The Residential Living team is committed to partnering with students to identify safe and appropriate housing for individuals who identify as transgender, non-binary or gender non-conforming on a case by case basis.

For more information, fill out the Housing Accommodations & Gender Identity form here. The form is only able to be accessed by the few professional staff who help students with housing assignments. One of the team members will contact you to set up an appointment to learn more about your individual needs and will work with you to identify housing options to best meet your needs within the spaces available on campus at Georgetown, both on the Hilltop & Capitol campuses. 

The information shared in the form will be kept as private as possible and only shared with staff members who need to know.

For housing accommodations that are not supporting individuals with disabilities and/or medical needs, email residentialliving@georgetown.edu. This may include, but is not limited to; assistance with the remaining application processes or religious considerations. No specific request is guaranteed. Rather, accommodations are determined on an individualized basis and may be tailored to match the needs of the student after consulting with the appropriate campus partners. A good faith effort will be made to fulfill approved requests.
