Spanish Living Learning Community

About

The Spanish Floor is a dynamic and immersive Living Learning Community for students who are passionate about Spanish language and culture. Rooted in fun, exploration, and shared growth, the community offers a unique opportunity to build fluency while deepening cultural understanding through conversation, coursework, and curated experiences.

Students on the Spanish Floor speak primarily in Spanish, creating an everyday environment that strengthens language skills and supports intercultural dialogue. From cultural dinners to theater outings and embassy visits, students connect their academic interests with lived, hands-on learning.

Located in Village C West, the Spanish Floor fosters a strong sense of belonging for students eager to explore Latin American and Spanish heritage and engage with the broader Georgetown community through a global lens.

This LLC is open to all Georgetown upperclass students, regardless of race, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected under University policy or applicable law.
