Intern Housing Dates

Intern housing is available in weekly increments. You must select a minimum stay of 5 weeks. Participants may leave any time within the week, but housing is only offered on a weekly basis, with check-in on Sundays and check-out on Saturdays.

Housing Options & Rates

Our intern housing is designed to bring together students in similar fields of work and study. All interns are assigned to shared apartments with other interns. You can request a specific roommate by including their first and last name in your application. Both parties must list each other’s names in their own applications to be assigned together.

Note: Rates do not include a 14.95% D.C. Occupancy Tax, which will increase to 15.95% after April 1, 2025.

FAQs

Parking in the D.C. area is zoned, and vehicles not registered with D.C. can only park on the streets for up to 2 hours at a time. Georgetown University offers two on-campus parking garages where you can park your car at daily rates.

Yes! All guests have access to the university’s GuestNet Wi-Fi network. SaxaNet, the network used by Georgetown students, faculty, and staff, is not available to summer housing guests.

There is a high efficiency washer and dryer available in each unit.

The Hilltop Campus is located approximately 8 miles from Capitol Hill, and there are several ways to get there:

  • Metro: The closest Metro stations are Rosslyn (blue, orange, silver lines) and Dupont Circle (red line), both accessible via the GUTS campus shuttle.
  • Bus: You can also take a bus from campus to various destinations.
  • Bike/Car: Biking and car travel are also viable options.
    For rideshares, please use the address 3700 O St. NW to avoid university gates.
