Pre-Session Housing

Pre-Session housing is available for students enrolled in Pre-Session classes at Georgetown. Registration for a Pre-Session class is required before applying for Pre-Session housing.

Important Dates:

• Pre-Session Housing Dates: May 17 – June 13, 2026
• Pre-Session Housing Sign-Up Period: February 23 – April 27, 2026

Housing Information:

• Room Type: Double occupancy in residence halls, unless you have an approved accommodation from the Academic Resource Center (ARC).
• If you require new accommodations based on disability, apply at least 4 weeks before the start of summer housing. Contact archousing@georgetown.edu for assistance.

Pre-Session Housing for Students with Summer Housing:

• Eligible students who have signed up for summer housing starting May 31, 2026, can apply for Pre-Session Housing from May 17 – May 31, 2026. After May 31, they will transition to their summer housing assignment.
• Students who cancel or do not have summer housing by the time Pre-Session begins will have their housing end on June 13, 2026, and will be billed accordingly.

Pre-Session Housing Options:

• Option 1: For students not signed up for summer housing starting June 1.
  • Option 1: For students not signed up for summer housing starting June 1.
  • Departure: June 13, 2026 (Check-out: 8 AM – 10 AM)

How to Apply for Pre-Session Housing

• Sign-up Period: February 23 – April 27, 2026
• How to Apply:
  • Log into the Hoya Housing Portal
  • Select “Forms” from the top menu
  • Choose the “Pre-Session Housing Form” from the dropdown menu

Summer Session

Summer School Housing

Georgetown Summer School Housing is available for students enrolled in summer session courses at Georgetown. All students are housed in double-occupancy apartments or townhouses. Housing assignments are made with other students taking summer classes at Georgetown. Roommate requests can be made by indicating the name of your desired roommate in the application form. Both students must list each other’s names in their respective applications for the request to be considered.

• Application Opens: 12 PM ET, February 23, 2026
• Application Closes: 3 weeks prior to the arrival date of the selected summer session

• Accommodation Requests: Students who need accommodations due to a disability should apply well before the start of their summer housing term
• We do not accept building preferences/requests
