Meet Our Summer Lead Team

We’re delighted to introduce the vibrant members of our student leadership team! Each student brings unique talents, energy, and fresh perspectives to support our summer conference operations.

Marketing Leads

Rohini Kudva (SFS, ’27)

Rohini is a rising senior in the School of Foreign Service studying International Politics, Mathematics, and Global Development. A Northern Virginia native and returning member of the summer marketing team, she is heading into her third summer with Georgetown’s Residential Living program — bringing with her a sharp creative eye, prior marketing experience, and a collaborative spirit that has made her a valued presence on the team. Rohini is passionate about spotlighting the connections and experiences that make summer on the Hilltop so distinctive, and she is eager to continue building on that work this season.

Jean Marte (CAS, ’28)

Jean is a sophomore in the College studying History with a minor in Law, proud to be Dominican and a native of the Bronx, New York City. He is passionate about advocacy, justice, wildlife, the culinary arts, and creative expression. Jean hopes to weave all of those threads into a career that touches law, education, and art. Returning for his second summer with the Residential Living team, Jean is excited to build on his growth from last year, deepen his skills as a marketing lead, and — of course — do some baking along the way.

Conference Leads

Sutton Joi Edeal (CAS, ’28)

Sutton is a junior at Georgetown majoring in Psychology and Government with a minor in Classics, with plans to pursue a J.D. or M.A. in Psychology after graduation. On campus, she serves on the boards of several student organizations focused on constitutional advocacy, science promotion, and welcoming new students. A person of many creative pursuits, Sutton is an artist, musician, and dedicated home barista who finds joy in the outdoors and in the company of family, friends, and beloved pets. She is excited to share her pride in Georgetown with new visitors this summer.

Malia Gunterman (SFS, ’28)

Malia is a rising junior in the School of Foreign Service studying International Politics with a concentration in Foreign Policy, and minoring in French and Statistics. Originally from Stevensville, Montana — a town of around 2,000 people — she brings a grounded perspective and a genuine enthusiasm for connection to everything she does. On campus, Malia plays Women’s Club Water Polo and is involved in GAAP and the SFS peer mentor program. Hoping to pursue a career in data science or policy analysis, she is looking forward to her first summer in D.C. and to helping every guest have a great experience on the Hilltop.

Tyler Wert (MSB, ’28)

Tyler is a rising junior in Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business with a love for pickup basketball, exploring Washington, D.C., and making the most of the city’s best weather. Known for his approachable energy and enthusiasm for meeting new people, Tyler brings a natural warmth to every interaction. This summer, he is excited to welcome visitors to Georgetown’s beautiful campus and to grow through hands-on leadership experience as part of the Conference Services team.

Aaron Wireman (CAS, ’28)

Aaron is a junior from Winfield, West Virginia, double-majoring in Psychology and Justice and Peace Studies with a minor in History. His academic interests center on negotiation, diplomacy, and organizational operations: skills he has developed as a returning member of the Summer Conference Housing team, where he served as both a Conference Lead and Office Assistant in Summer 2025. Aaron is known for his strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to creating welcoming, well-coordinated experiences. He thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and looks forward to deepening both professional and personal connections this summer.

Anna Tercyak (CAS, ’28)

Anna is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Psychology, and a proud Bethesda, Maryland native. On campus, she plays club basketball and is an active member of GAAP. Anna brings a competitive spirit and a collaborative heart to everything she does, and this summer she is eager to expand her leadership skills, work directly with clients, and connect with the many people passing through Georgetown’s doors. She is thrilled to be on campus for the summer season.

Elsa Kainu (MSB, ’28)

Elsa is a rising junior in Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, originally from Finland, where she also spent 12 years living in Denmark. Her international upbringing gives her a cross-cultural perspective and adaptability that translate well to the dynamic world of conference services. Outside the classroom, Elsa enjoys running, staying active at the gym, and spending time with friends. She is looking forward to contributing to a strong and supportive summer team on the Hilltop.

Camden Uffelman (CAS, ’28)

Camden is a rising junior in the College of Arts and Sciences pursuing a degree in Computer Science. Originally from Washington State, he brings a calm, curious approach to problem-solving both in and out of the classroom. When he is not studying, Camden can be found playing music, going for runs, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. He is excited to take on new leadership responsibilities this summer and to build meaningful connections with teammates and guests alike.

Skye Johnstone (CAS, ’28)

Skye is a sophomore in the College studying Biology of Global Health with a minor in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. A Salt Lake City native, she brings an outdoorsy spirit, an eye for great thrift finds, and a deep appreciation for good coffee — with a special nod to Georgetown’s own Flor. Skye is passionate about building strong relationships with her peers and colleagues, and believes that a close-knit team is the foundation of a great guest experience. She cannot wait to explore more of D.C. this summer while making the Hilltop feel like home for everyone who visits.

Lydia Nathenson (CAS, ’29)

Lydia is a first-year in the College of Arts and Sciences, born and raised in London and now happily settled in Washington, D.C. Endlessly social and genuinely warm — by her own admission, she could strike up a conversation with a brick wall — Lydia has made it her mission to pay forward the sense of welcome and belonging that Georgetown has given her. In her free time, she enjoys adventuring around the city and conducting rigorous ice cream taste tests. She is delighted to join the summer team and help make every guest’s experience a memorable one.

Johnny Cronin (CAS, ’27)

Johnny is a junior in the College studying History, with plans to attend law school upon graduation. His connection to Georgetown runs deep. One visit to campus during his junior year of high school left a lasting impression, and he has been eager to give others that same experience ever since. Outside the classroom, Johnny enjoys reading, cooking, and staying active at the gym. He brings a thoughtful, service-oriented mindset to his role as Conference Lead and is excited to help guests discover all that Georgetown has to offer.

Jack Maurer (CAS, ’27)

Jack is a rising senior at Georgetown studying Government and Economics, originally from Long Island, New York. An avid runner and enthusiastic explorer of Washington, D.C., he is always on the lookout for new corners of the city to discover. Jack brings a welcoming spirit and a commitment to smooth, memorable experiences to his role with the Summer Conferences team. He is excited to serve as an ambassador for the Hilltop and to help guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Operations Leads

Emily Montgomery (CAS, ’28)

Emily is a sophomore in the College studying Biological Physics. Originally from West Virginia, she considers Washington, D.C. a comfortable home away from home. Now in her second year with Georgetown’s summer team, Emily has developed a genuine dedication to making the campus feel welcoming to everyone who passes through. She sees Georgetown as her home, and takes real pride in creating that same sense of belonging for guests. She is excited to continue that work and to grow as a leader this summer.

Aaron Guillaume (SOH, ’28)

Aaron is a junior in the School of Health studying Healthcare Management and Policy, with his sights set on a future in endodontics. A Division I sprinter and junior team captain, he has developed a leadership philosophy grounded in listening, accountability, and showing up for others. Values he has put into practice through his work with Grassroots Health on community health initiatives. Aaron thrives in collaborative environments where operational excellence and human impact go hand in hand, and he is eager to bring that same energy to the Summer Conference team this season.

Alazar Teffra (CAS, ’27)

Alazar is a junior in the College studying Psychology and Philosophy, and a member of Georgetown’s Track & Field team. As a student-athlete, he has honed the discipline, time management, and grace under pressure that make for a strong operations lead… Someone the team can count on when things move fast. Alazar is motivated by a genuine desire to be reliable and to help things run smoothly, and he brings both focus and a collaborative spirit to his work with the Summer Conference team.

Abrahim Sawez (SOH, ’28)

Abrahim is a rising junior in the School of Health studying Healthcare Management and Policy on a pre-med track. Organized, personable, and energized by the prospect of a busy summer on campus, he brings both academic rigor and a team-first attitude to his role as an Operations Lead. Outside of his studies, Abrahim enjoys playing and watching sports, staying active at the gym, and reading. He is looking forward to meeting the full team and getting to work this season.

Henry Johnson (CAS, ’28)

Henry is a rising junior at Georgetown studying Government with a minor in Law, Justice, and Society. Originally from Chicago and a proud Cubs fan, he is an active voice on campus — serving as a blog editor for the Georgetown Undergraduate Law Review, a managing editor for the Georgetown Journal of History, a member of the Philonomosian debate society, and a participant in the Asian American Student Association. Aspiring to attend law school and one day receive a judicial appointment, Henry brings intellectual curiosity and a community-oriented spirit to everything he does. He is excited to help make Georgetown feel as welcoming to summer guests as it has been to him.

Brooke Lenahan (CAS, ’28)

Brooke is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, originally from Massachusetts and no stranger to the Georgetown community. She has already spent the academic year on the Operations team and is eager to bring that experience into a full summer season on the Hilltop. Known for her enthusiasm and reliability, Brooke is excited to reunite with colleagues and welcome a new wave of guests to campus. When she’s not on the job, you’ll find her with her nose in a book or catching a show somewhere around D.C.

Steven Alberto-Portillo (MSB, ’27)

Steven is a rising junior in Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, majoring in Accounting and International Business with a minor in Anthropology, and plans to pursue his CPA after graduation. Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, he also spent formative years in El Salvador, a country he represents with pride. Steven brings an analytical mindset and an international perspective to his work on the Operations team. Outside of class, he stays active by playing basketball, exploring D.C. on his bike, and catching new movies whenever he can.

Noah Warner (CAS, ’28)

Noah is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Political Economy, and a proud Kansas City, Missouri native… Which means unwavering Chiefs loyalty and strong opinions about BBQ. A natural competitor, he channels his energy into the Georgetown Club Triathlon Team, logging miles running, biking, and swimming around the city. Noah is also a member of Georgetown’s Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Fraternity, where he engages in professional development as he sets his sights on a future in law. He brings the same drive and discipline from sport to everything he takes on.

Justin Sousa (MSB, ’27)

Justin is a junior in the McDonough School of Business studying Finance and International Business, originally from New Jersey. Having spent the past year as an Operations Lead with the Office of Residential Living, he knows firsthand what it takes to keep a residence hall running smoothly. And more importantly, what it means to make a space feel like home. Justin brings a people-first mindset and a sharp eye for detail to everything he does. When he’s not on duty, you’ll find him cooking, watching or playing soccer, or staying active at the gym.

Carol Zhou (SOH, ’29)

Carol is a first-year in the School of Health studying Healthcare Management and Policy, with a particular focus on long-term care systems, aging populations, Medicaid policy, and equitable access to healthcare services. Her intellectual curiosity extends well beyond the classroom. She is an active member of the Philonomosian Debate Society, where she hones her critical thinking and public speaking, and serves as a tour guide for the Blue and Gray Society. Carol is excited to bring her passion for community and service to the summer team on the Hilltop.

Noah Young (CAS, ’26)

Noah is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Government with a minor in Economics, with a sharp interest in the intersection of policy and markets. But it is his creative pursuits — photography, art, and music — that reveal the full picture. Whether he is behind a camera or deep in a policy brief, Noah has a gift for finding new perspectives and telling compelling stories. He is thrilled to bring that curiosity and energy to the summer lead team for his final season on the Hilltop.

Nik Mateo (CAS, ’27)

Nikaury — known to friends and colleagues as Nik — is a rising senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Psychology and minoring in English. During the academic year, she serves as a Student Intern with the Center for Multicultural Equity and Access, a facilitator with Hoyas Connected, and a member of the Georgetown Cheer Team. A passionate advocate for community and belonging, Nik brings warmth, energy, and a love of Italian food, coffee, and good books to the summer team.
