Pre-Session Housing

Pre-Session housing is available for students enrolled in Pre-Session classes at Georgetown. Registration for a Pre-Session class is required before applying for Pre-Session housing.

Important Dates:

• Pre-Session Housing Dates: May 18 – June 14, 2025
• Pre-Session Housing Sign-Up Period: February 24 – April 28, 2025

Housing Information:

• Room Type: Double occupancy in residence halls, unless you have an approved accommodation from the Academic Resource Center (ARC).
• If you require new accommodations based on disability, apply at least 4 weeks before the start of summer housing. Contact archousing@georgetown.edu for assistance.

Pre-Session Housing for Students with Summer Housing:

• Eligible students who have signed up for summer housing starting June 1, 2025, can apply for Pre-Session Housing from May 18 – June 1, 2025. After June 1, they will transition to their summer housing assignment.
• Students who cancel or do not have summer housing by the time Pre-Session begins will have their housing end on June 14, 2025, and will be billed accordingly.

Pre-Session Housing Options:

• Option 1: For students not signed up for summer housing starting June 1.
  • Arrival: May 18, 2025 (Check-in: 4 – 8 PM)
  • Departure: June 14, 2025 (Check-out: 8 AM – 10 AM)

How to Apply for Pre-Session Housing

• Sign-up Period: February 24 – April 28, 2025
• How to Apply:
  • Log into the Hoya Housing Portal
  • Select “Forms” from the top menu
  • Choose the “Pre-Session Housing Form” from the dropdown menu

Summer Session

For Georgetown Students Enrolled in Summer Classes

Summer School Housing

Georgetown Summer School Housing is available for students enrolled in summer courses at Georgetown. All students are housed in double-occupancy apartments or townhouses. Housing assignments are made with other students taking summer classes at Georgetown. Roommate requests can be made by indicating the name of your desired roommate in the application form. Both students must list each other’s names in their respective applications for the request to be considered.

• Application Opens: 12 PM ET, February 24, 2025
• Application Closes: 12 PM ET, May 11, 2025

Housing Options & Rates:

• Full Summer (June 1 – August 9, 2025):
  • Double Bedroom Rate: $4,984 per person
  • Check-In: Sunday, June 1, 2025 | 4 PM
  • Check-Out: Saturday, August 9, 2025 | 10 AM

• All housing is double occupancy, unless an approved accommodation request is made.
• Accommodation Requests: Students who need accommodations due to a disability should apply well before the start of their summer housing term.

Summer Intern Housing: On The Hilltop

Our historic Hilltop campus offers a unique glimpse into the Georgetown experience.  Enjoy apartment-style living in a central campus location, complete with scenic views and unparalleled access to our variety of university resources. Make time for morning workouts at the Gym at Yates Field House, or stop in for some alone time at one of our many study spaces. Summer Intern Housing: Capitol Campus

The Capitol Campus builds on Georgetown’s historic strengths and brings together new opportunities for collaboration in a vibrant new living and learning community in the heart of DC. This downtown apartment-style residence space at 55 H St NW offers the latest in urban living, just steps from the U.S. Capitol, Union Station, and DC’s business districts. Perfect for interns who want to be in the heart of DC.
