Nevils is an apartment-style residential community for rising juniors and seniors only. This building contains mostly four, five, and six-person apartments. The apartments include a full kitchen and either one or two full baths. These apartments are popular among upperclass students because of their spaciousness and unique design.
Nevils, along with LXR and the Walsh academic building, forms Georgetown’s East Campus. Located just outside the university gates near M Street, Nevils is considered on-campus housing for upperclass students. The building shares an outdoor courtyard with LXR that features park benches, shaded areas, grills, and bicycle racks.

Community Directors are professional live-in staff members employed by the University. These professionals work directly with students, Residential Ministers, Faculty-in-Residence and campus partners to create a formative living learning environment for our students. Community Directors oversee the Resident Assistant staff within their residential community and develop and implement community educational plans.
Resident Assistants
Resident Assistants (RAs) are student leaders who live in our campus communities and help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all residents. From hosting programs to offering guidance and responding in times of need, RAs play a vital role in shaping the Georgetown residential experience.
Building Security
Access doors to residential buildings are secured, and students must use their GOCard for access. Each residence has its own access door with a lock that residents are encouraged to secure at all times.
