Move Out Facts

The Office of Residential Living, located in Harbin 100, will be open 9:00am – 6:00pm, Saturday, March 14 – Sunday, March 29.

Transportation

The Center for Social Justice (CSJ) will make available a limited number of vans for student-authorized drivers to use in 4 hour blocks starting Monday, March 16 for local errands, moving supplies to storage (30 mile radius).  No cost. The Corp Off Campus Storage

Residents must pay for this service. Services are located at:

Shipping

Service is provided through UPS.

Boxes and labels can be found in McShain Lounge (entrance is on the side of McCarthy Hall closest to Leo’s)


Trash Removal

All trash must be removed from student rooms and either be taken to the building’s trash room or taken to a dumpster. You can find dumpsters in the following locations:

  • Reiss loading dock
  • Harbin
  • Village C
  • Maguire parking lot
  • N Street Park
  • LXR court yard
  • Between Copley and Healy

**NOTE: Furniture and refrigerators are not permitted to be placed in dumpsters**


Traffic

Entering Campus

All vehicles will enter Campus through the Canal Road entrance. Staff will be on hand to direct vehicles to the closest parking garage near the student’s residence hall.

Please note Library Walk will be barricaded. Only pedestrians and carts will be allowed.

Parking

OTM and GUPD will direct people to appropriate areas and there will be signs to help you navigate campus

If you live in Darnall, Henle, Arrupe, or Copley you will be directed to Leavey Garage

If you live in Village A you will be directed to Lot 9 (Lauinger Library)

If you live in Harbin, Village C, Ida Ryan & Isaac Hawkins Halls, New South, McCarthy, Kennedy, or Reynolds you will be directed to the Southwest Quad Garage

Leaving Campus

From Leavey Garage

  • West Road exit: Turn right onto West Road and then proceed to Reservoir Road to exit campus.
  • Tondorf Road exit: Turn right onto Tondorf Road, turn right onto North Road, then turn right onto West Road and proceed to exit onto Reservoir Road. 

From Southwest Quad Garage

  • Vehicles will exit to Canal Road

Food

The following on-campus dining locations will be open during move out:

Epicurean | Open Daily

  • 7:00am – 7:00pm

Leo O’Donovan Dining Hall – Fresh Food Company | Open Daily

  • Breakfast: 8:00 – 10:00am
  • Lunch: 11:00am – 1:00pm
  • Dinner: 4:00 – 6:00pm
